تقوم وزارة الصحة الكندية والوكالة الكندية لفحص الأغذية (CFIA) حالياً بسحب 30 منتج من منتجات الأجبان من مختلف العلامات تجارية مثل FreshFun Fantastic و Le Fromage au Village، بسبب احتمال تلوثها الليستريا.
وأشارت CFIA إلى أنه تم بيع المنتجات المعنية في كيبيك وأونتاريو، وأكّدت أنها تجري تحقيقاً للتأكد من إزالة كافة العناصر من السوق. وأضافت أنه لم يتم الإبلاغ عن أي حالات مرضية مرتبطة باستهلاك أي من منتجات الألبان المذكورة حتى الآن.
وتوصي وزارة الصحة الكندية المستهلكين بعدم تقديم المنتجات المعنية أو استخدامها أو بيعها أو توزيعها.
